Faith & Discipleship—Priceless
Here for Good begins with discipleship. Our greatest goal is to see every Eastbrooker grow deeper in faith, making Jesus the highest priority in every area of life. Through prayer, generosity, and commitment, we believe God is inviting us into a new season of spiritual growth. (Matthew 28:18-20)
At the heart of Here for Good is a call to deeper discipleship. Eastbrook’s primary goal is not simply to fund ministry or improve facilities, but to see every person who calls Eastbrook home place Jesus first in every area of life. This vision invites the congregation into renewed faith, generosity, prayer, and trust as we seek to follow Christ more fully together.
Just as previous generations stepped forward with bold faith and sacrificial commitment, we believe God is calling us into a new season of wholehearted discipleship that will strengthen both our individual walks with Christ and our shared mission as a church family.
Core Ministries—$7.0M
($3.5M Annual Operations Budget x 2 years)
Our core ministries are where people meet Jesus, find community, and grow as disciples. We will strengthen worship, care, discipleship, kids’ & student ministries, and our ministry services so they can continue transforming lives for years to come. (Philippians 3:13-14)
Eastbrook’s core ministries are the foundation of how we proclaim and embody the love of Jesus Christ in the city and the world. Through worship, prayer, adult discipleship, congregational care, kids’ and student ministries, and ministry services, we help people encounter Christ, grow in community, and live out their faith every day.
Here for Good will strengthen these vital ministries for the next two years, ensuring they remain healthy, effective, and positioned for future growth. By investing in the ministries that shape lives week after week, we are building on the strong foundation God has established through Eastbrook’s history and preparing for greater impact in the years ahead.

Missions—$1.3M
($650K Annual Missions Budget x 2 years)
Missions has always been part of Eastbrook’s DNA. We will deepen our investment in local outreach and global partnerships, helping more people experience the love of Christ in Milwaukee and around the world. (Acts 1:8)
Since our beginning, God has drawn Eastbrook into His larger story of missions around the world and placed missions at the heart of Eastbrook’s identity. This has included many wonderful chapters in our story like the Somali hospital, China adoptions, welcoming the stranger, and so much more. Over the last three years, it has become clear that God is starting His next chapter for us in missions.
While we will continue our work here in the city of Milwaukee, God has now brought us into the next generation of missionaries and leaders in places where we have had deeply rooted relationships. This includes the successor for our dear sister Farida in North Africa, emerging leaders at the schools in Bethlehem and Hebron, and the next generation of workers in the Horn of Africa. All these “new” field workers flow out of decades-long relationships with Eastbrook.
But God is also doing a new thing as well, bringing us new relationships and opportunities to be a part of what He is doing in the hard places around the world. These include starting and building businesses to support the persecuted church, supporting community health outreach, training emerging leaders, and caring for the diaspora of persecuted people groups.
All the while, God continues to raise up and send out new field workers from within Eastbrook. This year alone we will send out two young adults through our new International Residency, with several more being prepared and equipped to go.
Our story of Eastbrook missions continues, and through Here for Good, we will be as strong and active of a sending church as always!
Campus Improvements—$13.0M
Here for the Good of the Next Generation
We believe the next generation is worth investing in today. By improving spaces for kids, students, families, and Eastbrook Academy, we are creating environments where young people can grow in faith, community, and purpose.
One of the most important ways we can invest in the future is by creating spaces that help children, students, and families thrive. Eastbrook’s campus serves a growing ministry community within our own church, as well as within Eastbrook Academy, which reaches hundreds of students and families from across the region. As these ministries continue to grow, our facilities must be equipped to support their needs.
Here for Good includes investments in flexible, multi-use environments for student ministry, improvements that support children and families, and updated facilities that help Eastbrook Academy flourish. By strengthening the spaces that shape the next generation, we are creating environments where young people can discover and boldly pursue God’s calling on their lives.
Here for the Good of the Community
Healthy ministry grows through meaningful relationships, and meaningful relationships need spaces where people can gather, connect, and belong. We will create welcoming, accessible environments that make it easier for people of all ages and abilities to participate fully in the life of our church community.
Eastbrook has always been more than a building. It is a place where people gather to worship, build relationships, find support, and grow together in Christ. As ministry has expanded, our campus has reached capacity, creating a need for spaces that better serve the life of the congregation and the broader community.
The Here for Good initiative will create new opportunities for connection by expanding gathering areas, enlarging the lobby, and adding a flexible, mid-sized space for ministry events, celebrations, and times of care that we are calling the Atrium. These improvements are designed to foster meaningful relationships and help more people find their place within the Eastbrook family.
Here for the Good of the City
For more than 20 years, Bread of Healing Clinic has been a powerful expression of Eastbrook’s commitment to our city. We will meaningfully address vital needs for our clinic space in order to expand care, improve patient experience, and position this ministry to serve our neighbors for generations to come.
When Eastbrook moved to Green Bay Avenue, it gained more than a permanent home. It gained the opportunity to dream about new ways to serve the surrounding community. One of those opportunities emerged through the Bread of Healing Clinic which has grown into a vital source of care and support for our neighbors.
Today, the clinic operates across multiple shared spaces, requiring significant setup and tear-down each time it opens its doors. Through Here for Good, we have the opportunity to create a permanent, dedicated home for the Bread of Healing Eastbrook Clinic. The re-envisioned space will address two critical needs: it will provide double the number of clinic rooms to meet growing demand, while also consolidating the overall footprint into a more efficient space. This will meet the needs of the growing clinic as well as free up space for use by Eastbrook Academy and other ministries:
- 8 new exam rooms
- a new eye clinic
- a dedicated lab space
- a permanent waiting room
- med room
- storage
- consultation space
Campus Stewardship
Faithful ministry requires faithful stewardship. By renewing the vital systems that keep our campus running, we are investing in a strong foundation that will support worship, discipleship, education, outreach, and community life for decades to come.
For nearly a century, the Eastbrook campus has been a place of worship, learning, ministry, and community. Today, many of the systems that support these spaces have reached a point where significant investment is needed to keep our campus safe, effective, and ready for the future.
Through Here for Good, we are renewing essential HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, security, and technology systems across our campus. By investing in this foundational infrastructure today, we are stewarding what God has entrusted to us and preparing Eastbrook to support ministry, outreach, and community life for generations to come.
While much of the Campus Stewardship that we will undertake during Here for Good will be “invisible”, one significant improvement that we plan to undertake is to remodel the restrooms in the A-Wing.
