Here for Good Fund
We are asking the church to prayerfully consider how they may be part of the $12.3 million Here for Good Fund, which will fund our ministry and mission for the next two years, and also allow us to improve our campus in significant ways.
One Fund Approach
Often, church giving is divided into categories: capital/building campaigns, operations, missions, and other needs. Individuals then have to prayerfully consider to which fund they will give. The result is that some areas can be over-funded while others are underfunded. People may feel left out of giving to a specific initiative or feel their giving isn’t supporting the most effective ministry goal.
Over the next two years, we are focusing our generosity on one Here for Good Fund—a single fund that will receive gifts and offerings and use them to fund our vision. Everything will be deposited into this fund and then drawn from it for each specific initiative goal. From December 2026 through December 31, 2028, every gift given to Eastbrook Church will go into the Here for Good Fund to support all of the important ongoing ministry and missions work, as well as our campus improvements.
Funds: Sources & Expenses
Here for Good is Phase 1 of a multi-phase campus improvement plan. Through diligent collaboration with Eastbrook Church, Eastbrook Academy, EUA Architects, and Berghammer Construction, we have determined that the total cost of Phase 1 of our campus expansion is $13 million. When we include two years of ministry, that total is $21.3 million, as we explain on the Vision page here.
Our goal is to raise $12.3 million through the Here for Good Fund, pursue $2.6M from other funding sources, such as the New Market Tax Credit (NMTC), and finance the remaining $6.4 million, if needed.
